As you travel with Response 1 Medical Staffing, we do not want you to leave the comforts of home behind. We recognize how hard you work as a travel nurse and want you to feel comfortable in your home away from home. Response 1 Medical Staffing provides fully furnished housing supplied with linens and housewares in locations that are safe and convenient to your nursing jobs. We coordinate your furniture delivery and utilities, including basic cable, local phone, and internet access (if desired) around your schedule to make this transition as smooth as possible. Should you prefer to arrange your own housing we will pay you a monthly housing subsidy. Special requests can be accommodated through prior arrangements with our housing department. When you arrive at your destination, all you have to do is unpack, relax, and begin to learn your way around town.
Our travel options can include travel allowances, flights, and rental cars. If you would like to book your own flight, we would be happy to reimburse you or we can make the flight arrangements for you. With respect to rental cars, we work with a national rental car company and can facilitate that rental for you.
Continuing education is a very important element of your nursing career. Response 1 Medical Staffing supports your further education. Please contact your recruiter prior to enrolling in classes to get more details!

We pay the first $250 of your monthly premium and any additional out-of-pocket medical costs may be deducted on a pre-tax basis. Supplemental insurances include: Universal Life Insurance, Term Life Insurance, Accident Insurance, Cancer Insurance, Heart/Stroke Insurance, and Hospitalization Income. Starting in January of 2006 would like to recognize your hard work and reward you for being a long term employee. After one year of service, employees may be eligible to receive up to one week (up to 40 hours at your hourly rate) paid time off. Contact your recruiter for more details.

The first hand knowledge you have and the trust you have built with our team has made R1MS what it is today. Should you refer a nurse that joins our family, for a 13-week assignment, you will receive a $500 referral bonus, $250 will be paid when your referral first starts their assignment and $250 will be paid at the end of their assignment.
